Gugg's numerous letters, almost all decorated with a drawing as letterhead and filled with words and thoughts, were a "life movement" of him, as he has put himself in a letter. These in the thousands small treasures addressed to family members, friends and acquaintances are carefully guarded by the owners and only a few of them appeared so far in the art trade.
